Abstract

Posters which are entitled Guerrilla Christ and Foreign Debt/IMF created by designers from Cuba contain many Christianity icons. Guerrilla Christ agitative poster with black and red colour background described Jesus Christ constricting a gun just looks like guerrillas. Foreign Debt/IMF poster described someone was crossed on the icon of US dollar as a symbol of IMF. As we know Cuba is one of the glorious communist socialist country. Writer is interested in investigating paradigm aspects related to the poster creating process include ideological aspect%2C community life%2C also narration or message extended. Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia : Poster yang berjudul Guerrilla Christ dan Foreign Debt/IMF karya desainer Alfredo Rostgaard dan Rafael Enriquez asal Kuba memasukkan ikon-ikon kristiani di dalamnya. Poster agitatif Guerrilla Christ dengan warna dasar hitam dan merah melukiskan gambar Yesus Kristus memanggul senjata layaknya seorang gerilyawan. Sedangkan poster Foreign Debt/IMF menggambarkan seorang yang disalib di atas ikon dollar AS sebagai simbol. Kuba merupakan salah satu negara sosialis komunis yang masih berjaya. Penulis tertarik untuk mengkaji lebih dalam mengenai unsur paradigmatik yang ada di sekeliling proses penciptaan poster tersebut%2C yaitu dari ideologi%2C kehidupan masyarakatnya hingga narasi atau pesan yang hendak disampaikan. Abstract

Babies as illustration models are not only appeared in babyÂ’s daily needs products advertisements%2C for instance babyÂ’s foods%2C drinks%2C and equipments as well but they are also appeared in non babyÂ’s daily needs products. Relate in print advertisement illustrations%2C babies as illustration models not just have functions pointing out babies as consumers%2C models (visual aid) but also function as attraction%2C productÂ’s image representation and productÂ’s value enumerator. Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia : Bayi sebagai model ilustrasi tidak hanya ditampilkan dalam iklan-iklan produk kebutuhan hidup sehari-harinya%2C misalnya makanan dan minuman serta perlengkapan bayi namun mereka juga dihadirkan pada iklan-iklan produk non kebutuhan bayi. Dalam hubungannya dengan ilustrasi iklan cetak%2C bayi sebagai model ilustrasi berperan penting dalam menarik perhatian khalayak sasarannya tidak sekedar hanya menunjukkan hubungan bayi dengan produk bahwa mereka adalah pengguna produk. Abstract

Advertising has kept attention from many social circles because of its wide impact%2C especially in tv commercials%2C that have the most audience. At the same time%2C the visual communication designer has a great responsibility to generate creative ads that are responsible as well. Christianity as a social and religious institution%2C is therefore directly and indirectly involved in the advertising world. Christianity possesses a particular view based on the ethics that is pertinent to Christian community%2C called Christian ethics. Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia : Periklanan terus mendapat perhatian dari banyak kalangan masyarakat karena memiliki dampak yang luas utamanya iklan televisi%2C yang punya daya jangkau paling besar. Punakawan are typical figures in Indonesian wayang%2C they have unique character and can do various roles%2C like: nanny%2C warrior advisor%2C entertainer%2C critism%2C comedian%2C utterance about thruth and wisdom. Because they have multifunction and typical figures%2C Punakawan can be an effective media to communicate a visual message. Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia : Punakawan adalah tokoh yang khas dalam wayang Indonesia%2C mereka mempunyai karakter yang unik dan bisa menjalankan berbagai macam peran%2C seperti pengasuh dan penasehat para ksatria%2C penghibur%2C kritikus%2C pelawak bahkan sebagai penutur kebenaran dan kebajikan. Abstract

Development in Indonesia%2C especially since the New Order era%2C that uses Western technology and foreign investment has brought about new values that shift society away from traditional culture. Along with the shift of value%2C consumerism is spreading in big cities as well as rural areas in Indonesia. This paper aims to prove that modernization%2C that uses Western technology and foreign investment%2C the encroachment of foreign culture and the diffusion of consumerism%2C that are gradually replacing traditional culture%2C are inevitable. Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia : Pembangunan di Indonesia khususnya sejak era Orde Baru yang memanfaatkan teknologi Barat dan modal asing telah melahirkan nilai-nilai baru dalam masyarakat yang menggeser kebudayaan tradisional. Abstract

Constructivist learning environments are concerned with both what and how one learns. The increasing interest in alternative assessment is reflecteted in the proliferation of term such as portfolio assessment. Portfolios have an honored history of use in fields such as art and design. A Critical%2C often overlooked%2C aspect of portfolio assessment is that the student’s evaluation of his/her own work is just as important as the evaluation rendered by others. Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia : Lingkungan belajar konstruktivistis terpusat pada apa dan bagaimana orang belajar. Meningkatnya minat terhadap penilaian konstruktivistik tecermin dalam berkembangkan istilah ‘penilaian portofolio’. Portofolio mempunyai sejarah pemakaian di bidang seni dan desain.
